Dixie Farmerette

Food production has become critical to the war effort and young women do their part by volunteering to serve on Ontario farms. These hard working “Farmerettes” perform all but the heaviest of tasks, taking the place of men engaged in military service. Despite considerable curiosity and attention, this young woman knows her business and has won the approval of her employers.
