The Last Call

‘The Last Call’ and ‘Fall-In” are some of the better known recruiting poems by English author and columnist Harold Begbie. When the First World War commences, Begbie begins writing passionate poems and articles concerning one’s responsibility to join war efforts which are used as propaganda by newspapers across the British Commonwealth.
